The Bryan Acheampong Foundation (BAF) has launched its debut Youth In Apprenticeship project for the people of Abetifi constituency in the Eastern Region.

The event was held on August, 26, 2021 at the Great Hall of Presbyterian University College. It saw youths and their parents grace the occasion as it ushers them into new vocations.

The aim of the project is to train the youth in various vocations of their choice to ensure them a source of livelihood.

For this year’s programme, there were a total of eighty (80) beneficiaries in four (4) different vocations: sewing, hairdressing, electrical, and glass works.

The event saw the likes of dignitaries like the Queen mother of Hweehwee, Nana Sarfoa Agyapomaa II and other officials who saw to the success of the event.

The foundation over the past years have impacted the lives of the people of Abetifi gravely through its donations and philanthropic works. From providing potable water to building school blocks for deprived pupils to its periodic provisions of basic amenities to the aged.
