The Youth in Apprenticeship (YIA) Project, a flagship initiative under the Bryan Acheampong Foundation’s Livelihood Empowerment programme, continues to transform lives by equipping young individuals with essential vocational skills.
This year’s graduation ceremony celebrated the achievements of 155 graduates across the Kwahu East District, with 30 beneficiaries proudly representing the YIA project.
The program empowers youth by enrolling them in vocational training and apprenticeship programs, enabling them to acquire skills that promote self-sufficiency and economic independence.
To ensure long-term success, the project includes a robust exit and sustainability plan, where beneficiaries are provided with startup capital and essential tools. This year, graduates each received a GHC 3,000.00 startup fund, addressing a significant barrier many face after completing training. The Bryan Acheampong Foundation remains committed to improving the livelihoods of youth, fostering and driving positive change across communities in Kwahu East.
